PROMPT RESPONSIBLY

A website dedicated to AI literacy through a sustainability lens. 

THE MISSION

Prompt Responsibly is a companion website to the experimental documentary film Climate Control, directed by Sarah Lasley, an Associate Professor of Film at Cal Poly Humboldt, and made in collaboration 30 of her Film students. The site gives an overview of the cautions and implications of our rapidly-changing AI landscape and tips on how to make ethical and sustainable choices in your own use of AI.

TECHNOSOLUTIONISM

The consensus that technology can quickly and easily solve complex problems. Also known as a technological fix or technical shortcut, it is believed that problems of technology can be fixed with additional technology.
